Robert Houghton Obituary
May 21, 1950 - September 28, 2013
Robert Forrest Houghton, 63 of Nampa died Saturday, September 28, 2013. He was born May 21, 1950 to Robert Dean and Juanita Brozovich Houghton in Red Lodge, Montana. He served 25 years in the Marine Corps. and retired from the Marines in 1994. He drove semi-truck for about eight years before going to work at Walmart in 2002. He retired from Walmart in 2012 due to health reasons. He was a gun enthusiast and helped many obtain their concealed gun license. He loved his wife and had spent many Saturday mornings going to different garage and estate sales with her. They attended Kindred Bible Church under Pastor Randy Reams.
Robert is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kathleen, son Robert and daughter Wendy, and his mother Juanita, his brothers, in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers Robert and his family request that donations be made to Wounded Warrior, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675. Please do this in honor of a veteran of 25 years who proudly served his country. When you donate please put it under GySgt Robert Forrest Houghton.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 12 at the Nampa Christian High School, 1920 W. Flamingo in Nampa. Arrangements are by Zeyer Funeral Chapel, Nampa 467-7300.

We knew Bob years ago, at least 42, and sadly to say lost touch. something I will regret the rest of my life. He was a kind, gererous man, tall and good looking. He will always remain in our hearts as a man of good
quality and great strength. We and I mean mostly me, will miss him greatly.

I am sorry for your loss. I really liked Bob and enjoyed working with him at Wal-mart. He always had an interesting story or joke to tell. He will be missed.
