Basil Lattimer Obituary

After living 82 years, marrying twice (once to Hazel May Jenkins and second to Dorothy Nichols) and fathering two children, Basil E. Lattimer died at his home in Caldwell, Idaho on Wednesday morning, July 1, 2009. He is survived by his son, Randy of Meridian, and his sister, Maxine of Caldwell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rollie and Vina Lattimer, his five brothers, his wife, Dorothy, and his son, Alan. He was born October 19, 1926, in Imperial, Nebraska and moved to Idaho in the 1940's. After being in the military he worked as a plumber, a tile-setter, and a mason for many years. He loved pool playing, bowling and cards. He, as his father before him, loved collecting, restoring and displaying clocks, antiques and collectibles.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.
