I send the fondest of thoughts and memories. Carol was tireless and brave, kind and seemingly never daunted by obstacles. She was one of those amazing PFLAG moms, who bravely forged with us into the Statehouse, to rallies or where ever we needed help. She was a mother to many over the years who didn't have supportive moms. She could make the most hostile law makers look at gay people as someone's sons and daughters. She made a world of difference and may well be a big part of why most anti-gay legislation never passed the Idaho legislature. I send a hug to Ron and a million thanks.

Dear Ron and Blakley Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you as you grieve the loss of Carol. I grieve also, but I rejoice for the life and works of this good woman. I met Carol and Ron in the early 90s while we advocated for gay equality in Idaho. Their dedication to the cause was inspiring. Carol always brought her optimism and good cheer wherever she went, and she always showed up.
I know that Carol had a long life full of family and other matters besides gay equality. She had a big impact in her time on earth.

Dear Ron and Family,so very saddened to learn of Carols passing into God's waiting Arms. I personally benefited from the many times that I shared with you and Carol. Her radiant smile could light the darkest day. I am al,ways so greatful that she and you gave such love to the LGBT community and you are in my prayers, and Ron I'm sending a hug and prayer especially for you. Sorry I can't be with you tomorrow but know I'm thinking of you both.
