Clinton was born November 6, 1930 at Wichita, Kansas the son of Ervin S. and Goldie P. Kaufman Gingrich. While attending school in Hesston, Kansas, he met Leora Hostetler of Nampa at a prayer meeting and they have been blessed with 60 years of marriage. They made their home in Nampa until 1983 when they began traveling to Scottsdale, Arizona where they have spent the winter months and returning to Nampa during the summer. Clinton was an entrepreneur and a self-made man who had a vision for starting successful businesses, primarily in the Treasure Valley. His main focus in business was construction and development. If he owned a piece of property, he always came up with a plan for building a business or a home on it.
A hobby Clinton truly enjoyed was restoring old cars and passing them on to family members.
Clinton is survived by his wife, Leora; their children and their spouses, Arlen and Dani Gingrich, Randy and Debra Gingrich, Byron and Karma Gingrich, Debbie and Matt Enke and Tanya and Jim Pepper; a brother, Lyle Gingrich; fourteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and more to come.
