She was born May 4, 1926, at Fort Sumner, New Mexico, the daughter of William and Cora Amy Klamroth, the seventh of eight children. They moved to the Vale, OR area in 1938 and she graduated from Vale Union High School.
Daisy met her future husband Jack D. Stuart at the Dewey Palace Hotel in 1946 where she was working while attending Business College. For a time she also worked in a Law Office. They were married June 30, 1946. After being a stay at home mom for many years, she started working at Birds Eye in 1958. Jack and Daisy lived in City Acres until they moved to their home of 45 years on Sunnyridge Rd. in Nampa. They moved into Grace in 2010, where they are loved by the staff.
She especially loved to sew and crochet always making special gifts for her children and grandchildren. Jack and Daisy attended Lakeview Church of the Nazarene most of their married life. Daisy also taught Caravan at their church and gave the children many hours of her time. In her later years she quilted with the church ladies. Daisy was a firm believer in the fact that it is better to give than to receive. She also made donations to many charities. After Daisy and Jack retired they spent time at the Nampa Rec. She swam laps even after she had congestive heart failure and after her recovery from open heart surgery. Throughout their lives they were involved in numerous activities such as the railroad Junior Old Timers of which they were both President at one time.
Daisy loved her family.
