Lonnie Lee Adams, 71, a longtime resident of Caldwell, entered into eternal peace on Feb. 15, 2014, at his home.
Lonnie was born Jan. 8, 1943 in Long Beach, California. He attended Salinas High School in Salinas, CA and continued his education years later at RSI Refrigeration School in Phoenix, Arizona, with a degree in heating, air conditioning and all phases of refrigeration.
In his early years he worked as a HVAC tech for A-1 Heating in Boise, and then later started his own business in Caldwell. He was proud of his business and truly relished the friends he made during the time of his business. Over the years his expertise and reputation led him to be named one of the top HVAC techs in the Treasure Valley.
Lonnie was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Caldwell. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was one of the best pool players in town. He enjoyed karaoke and playing cards with his family. His favorite thing to do was to sit around with friends and family and tell jokes. He was especially known for his magic tricks. His wonderful smile could always light up a room.
Lonnie is preceded in death by his parents, Guy W. and Dorothy Adams and two sons, Guy Lee and Kelly Dean.
He is survived by Sylvia Adams, his sister, Elizabeth Hyatt, daughters, Nicole Lee, Heather Ann, Lisa Anne, Katrina Marie, Sheila Renae and Lisa Mitchell, a son, Rowdy Eugene, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
