Maxine Ellen Crump, 87, formerly of Payette, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2011.

A viewing for family and friends will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, June 20, at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, New Plymouth. Maxine was born May 2, 1924, in West Salem, Ill., to Charles and Alta Rogers. She graduated at Parkersburg, Ill.
On Feb. 28, 1942 she married Otto Crump in Olney, Ill. They moved to Idaho in 1947. Throughout the years they lived in Idaho, Washington, Indiana, and Illinois. They retired in the Payette area.
She is survived by two children, a son, Charles Crump (Judy, deceased) of Seward, Kan., and a daughter, Judy Hawley (Dean) of Caldwell; six grandchildren, five step grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and three sisters out of eight children still living.
Her parents, husband, one brother, and three sisters preceded her in death.
Mother enjoyed her fishing, traveling, doing ceramics one day a month, and loved being with family and friends. She will really be missed.
