Robert Ralls

1961 - 2011

Robert Edmond Ralls passed away at his home Wednesday April 27, 2011.
Robert was born May 4, 1961 in Mountain Home, Ida., to Larry Ralls and Darlene (Ralls) Reich.
Rob was raised by his grandparents Ralph and Rea Dalton in Melba, where he graduated in 1979.
After graduation he enlisted in the Idaho National Guard serving six years, including two assignments in Korea. Rob married Carla Wolcott on August 13, 1983, later divorcing in 1985.
Rob enjoyed building and anything to do with wood. He, with his dad, Larry, built Garrity Business Park and developed Garrity R.V. Park in Nampa.
Rob liked collecting antiques. He enjoyed the Ralls family reunions, staying up half the night catching up on old stories and making up new ones.
Travel was always a highlight of Rob's life. Most memorable was his trip to New Zealand with his dad for two months. They had a wonderful time with hundreds of photos to prove it.
Rob is survived by his father and stepmother, Larry and Marilyn Ralls of Nampa; mother and stepfather, Darlene and Don Reich of Nampa; grandparents, Edward and Virginia Bowling; brother, Allen Reich of Melba; sister, Carla and Richard Azar of Little Hockings Ohio; Monte Ralls of Nampa; sister, Renee and Louis Sill of Nampa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rob was preceded in death by his sister, Paula Reich; grandparents, Raymond and Pansy Ralls; Ralph and Bea Dalton, and Angela Bowling and great-grandparents, Fred and Lela Deal.
Rob was one to help out. He was always ready to lend a hand to anyone who asked. He will be missed by all.
Services will be held at Alsip Funeral Home, in Nampa, on Friday, May 6, at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family would like contributions to be made to Habitat for Humanity of Canyon County, 5214 Cleveland Blvd. Suite 3, Caldwell, ID. 83607. Condolences may be left at alsipfuneralchapel.com.
