Warren Farnworth Obituary

Warren J. Farnworth, 81, of Nampa passed away May 24, 2011, at home with loving family at his side.
He was born in Buhl, Idaho on April 14, 1930, to Francis "Frank" Farnworth and Thominnie "Katie" Larsen in a log house built by his father. He was the youngest of seven. The family lived in several areas throughout the state of Idaho spending a few years in Adrian, Ore. where Warren went to school.
Warren and Elizabeth "Betty" Marie Burkey married on June 5 1950. They spent the first years of their marriage in the Grace, Idaho area and then moved to the Treasure Valley. To this union six children were born. Warren worked as a mechanic at Bennett Ford, Idaho Animal, and Teton Crane/Crane West. He particularly enjoyed the last job because of the diversity.
He greatly enjoyed the outdoors; fishing and camping, searching for a new huckleberry patch, or spotting wildlife on drives through the forests. Yellowstone Park was a favorite place.
Warren spent a great deal of his retirement raising and tending sheep. His hobby kept him very busy and gave him a lot of satisfaction until his health declined.
Family was always a large part of his life. He loved playing with the grandchildren. There was a special light in his eye when they were around.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five siblings, wife of 55 years, and his daughter Kay Day. Surviving family includes his sister Ethel (Norm) Rogers; children Kathy Farnworth, Warren (Debie) Farnworth, Frank (Coleen) Farnworth, Karen (Rick) Luther, Kristine (Dave) Seaman; son-in-law Mike Day; 18 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. His adoring dogs Tiny Tim and Tina G. will be lost without him.
He lived life and died his way and will be truly missed.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Kohlerlawn Cemetery, Nampa, Idaho.

We loved you Warren, like an Uncle who never closed his door or failed to answer the phone. All of my kids have your number memorized because if you needed help call Uncle Warren. Thanks for knowing I was there all those years.
