Wilma Rae Heusser from Melba, ID, formerly McGill, NV, passed away September 24th at 83 years old. She was born on April 20th, 1929, to Kenneth and Edna Burton in Boise, ID and grew up in Grandview, ID. She eventually moved to Ely, NV and married William A. Heusser Sr. They later divorced. To this union, three children were born. Wilma raised her family in McGill, NV. She enjoyed craft hobbies, and loved the beauty in simple homemade gifts that she often received. She was a 65 year member of the Rebekah Lodge and enjoyed socializing. Although she lived her life with many physical limitations, she was often on the move and interested in adventuring out on the town with friends or family. Eventually, she relocated to Melba, ID to be closer to her family. She made many friends in the Melba community that she enjoyed spending time with. Many of them looked out for her welfare. She was a regular at the Melba Quick Stop. She enjoyed the banter and verbal sparring that goes with being a "regular". She is survived by her devoted sister Vera Shields, Melba, ID; her son William Heusser III (Cynthia) Kuna, ID; daughter Elizabeth Hansen ( Mads Alan), Naples, Italy; grandson Ken (3 great-grandchildren); and granddaughter Sierra Hansen, all from Jacksonville, FL. She was preceded in death by her son Kenneth. The family wishes to thank staff at Trinity Mission Health & Rehab for her care and their friendship. Also thanks to those that visited her. She enjoyed seeing babies. She also delighted in her Golden Retriever puppy visits. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Melba Senior Center would be appreciated. Funeral services will be held at Alsip Funeral Chapel, 404 10th Ave, Nampa ID Saturday, September, 29th, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place in Grandview, ID.
