Our beloved Teresa (Mona) Martinez, 70, went to be with her heavenly father on August 6, 2014 surrounded by her loved ones. Teresa was born October 3, 1943 to Petra Quezada and Jesus Garcia in Durango Mexico. In her teen years Teresa came to the United States. Teresa migrated from Texas to Idaho where she made her home in 1967. Teresa had seven children, Gloria Chavez (Freddie), Louie Neagle, Terrie Olvera (Mario Sr), Angelita Martinez (Benito), Sylvia Barroso (Kinley Favinger), Diane Chavez (Mingo Jr), Patsy Calero (Alexander), Mari Alfaro (Ricardo) her step children Pete Naegle (Mary), Teno Jimenez Sr, Roberto Jimenez Sr, Jose Jimenez (Mandi). Teresa had 41 grand children, numerous great grand children and several great great grand children. Teresa is survived by 2 sisters Vicenta Ojeda and Eugenia Orosco (Kenny Arnold), 2 brothers Raul Garcia (Esperanza), Leno Garcia (Delores) and numerous nieces and nephews. Teresa was a hard worker who instilled many values to all her children and grandchildren at times holding down two jobs. Teresa's hobbies were shopping for bargains, yard sales, bingo, making crafts and she loved to cook. Teresa was a strong woman, touched many lives, and had many friends in the community. She will be missed by all who loved her. Teresa was a devoted Catholic and believed in the miracles of the Virgin Mary. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Alvaro Q. Garcia & Santos Quezada, her sister & brother in law Socorro and Juan Salcido, 3 grand sons, Marcos Jimenez, Jason Guadalupe Alvarado and Mario Stephen Olvera, 2 granddaughters Tanya Lynn Neagle and Veronica Lee Neagle, a nephew Juan Pe Salcido. Teresa's final thoughts: "If I die tomorrow my job here on earth is done, why, because look at what my daughter Sylvia did, that means I raised my children well."
