He married Christy Lee in 1972. To this union three daughters and a stillborn son were born. They divorced in 1987. Jeff continued to raise their daughters in Nampa. In 1996 he married Betty Jo (Jodi) Baltzor and adopted her son Daniel to be the son he always wanted to have.
Jeff was active in the Canyon County Mounted Sheriff's Posse for seven years. He enjoyed their comeradery and horsemanship. Jeff was an avid horseman and has raised Quarter Horses and Paints for the last 15 years. Jeff also was an avid hunter and enjoyed going on cattle drives.
