Danielle Bedegi
Danielle Christina Bedegi, 21, Eagle
On June 15, 1988, a sweet, beautiful baby girl, Danielle Christina Bedegi, aka "Peanut," was born to her proud parents, Paul and Gena Bedegi. On her 21st birthday, June 15, 2009, our sweet, vivacious angel was taken from us by an undiagnosed heart disease. A viewing will be held from 1-3 p.m. Friday, June 19, at the Boise First Nazarene Church/Boise Community Center at 3852 N. Eagle Road. A memorial service will follow the viewing at 3 p.m. at the same location.
Arrangements are being provided by the Zeyer Funeral Chapel, Nampa. 467-7300.
Danielle was raised in Eagle. She attended Pat's Daycare, Eagle Hills Elementary, Eagle Middle School and graduated from Eagle High School in 2006. Dani loved to dance. She studied under Carol Fipps for 10 years and competed in the first Studio C competitive dance competition with the team. She loved the girls she danced with and performing - she truly excelled at it.
Many employees and patrons of Red Robin, Sizzler, Macaroni Grill and Famous Dave's will remember her smile, quick wit and contagious laugh. Words cannot begin to describe what we feel about our beautiful daughter and sister. Dani had an understanding of people that old souls have. She was extremely intuitive and always sided with the underdog and was friends with what some considered outcasts. Dani had a heart of gold and would do anything to help out someone who was less fortunate than herself. She had a smile that would light up any room and a laugh that would make you look. She was a kind, loving, energetic spirit who always made every soul feel cared for.
The moments Dani looked forward to were the moments spent with family. Whether it was family vacations to Hazard or Stanley Lake, St. George to see Grandma and Pomp or trips to Mexico with family and friends - they were moments that were priceless to her. We have many, many wonderful memories that we will cherish - with her being the ring leader or at least in the middle of everything! She loved God and now is with Him in heaven.
Survivors include her mother, Gena Miller and her husband John of Eagle, father, Paul Bedegi of Eagle, sister Megan Bedegi of Meridian and brother Jacob Bedegi of Wichita, KS; grandparents, Bob and Gena Sears of St. George, UT, grandmother Henrietta Bedegi of Boise; two very special friends, Joey Archer and her dog, Harvey Jane; aunts and uncles, Andrew and Sandy Bedegi of WY, Laszlo Bedegi Jr. of Nampa, Peter and Mary Jane Bedegi of Pleasanton, CA, Terry and Lynn Smith of Lakewood, WA; cousins, Amber and Laszlo Bedegi III, Todd, Eva and Anthony Bedegi, Adam, Brandon and Clay Smith; special second cousins, Keaton and Blaine Bedegi; and special friends, Dana Fitzpatrick, and Dave, Vicki and Ty Tweedy.
She was preceded in death by her loving grandpa, Laszlo Bedegi.
A gathering for family and close friends will be held immediately following the service at Dave and Vicki Tweedy's residence, 845 Ranch Drive in Eagle.
Danielle would love for donations to be made to the Idaho Humane Society in her name.
