Ada Louise (Hazen) Stilwell, 86, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010, at a Nampa care center.

Ada was born on Dec. 14, 1923 in Caldwell, to Jack and Georgia Hazen. She was the fifth of six children.
She worked in packing sheds and Stone's Poultry before going to the laundry at Mercy Hospital where she worked until retiring.
She loved camping, her family, and cooking for the entire family on the holidays. She also loved to crochet, make quilts and do sewing projects. Her favorite camping spot was Horsethief.
She is survived by six children, Mary and Marvin Wiedenfeld, Clarence and Kaye Stilwell, Otis Stilwell, Keith Stilwell, Ray Stilwell, and Nancy and Kevin Brown; 21 grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward, all five siblings, a daughter, Shirley Morey, husband Eugene, and a granddaughter, Cherie Stilwell.
A special thank you to all the staff at Trinity Mission and the Hearts for Hospice staff for all their loving care they gave her.
A visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m., on Sunday, Oct. 17, at Alsip Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 18, also at Alsip Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.
