Terry Fairchild
April 8th, 1943 - September 25, 2012
Terry Fairchild, 69, a life long resident of Nampa, Idaho, passed away peacefully in his home of natural causes on September 25th. He had fought a long and courageous battle with cancer and ultimately leukemia. Terry was born to Wayne Oliver Fairchild and Lorraine (Geisler) Fairchild on April 8th 1943.
Terry is survived by his children Patrick (Marney) of California, Brian (Michelle) of Montana, Gina (Vaughn) Parma, Mark (Michelle) of Montana, David (Kisha) Nampa and Melissa of Nampa. He has 25 grand children and 5 great grand children. He is also survived by his father Wayne of Nampa, Sister Diane (Lynn) Christiansen of Boise, Loanne (Terry) Adler of Caldwell, brother Kevin of Nampa. Terry was preceded in death by his mother Lorraine and his wife of over 30 years Nancy (Coehlo) Fairchild, sister Judy Ann, brother Darwin G. and one grand child Jessica Dawn Fairchild.
Terry loved camping, boating and fishing with family and touring on his Honda motorcycles with Nancy to various locations around the Western US. He retired from TN Transportation, Co-owned The Lazer Engraver in downtown Nampa with Nancy as well as Engine Distributors in Boise and always was concerned with the good name he had built in the community as an honest business man.
Terry served an enlistment in the Navy and was discharged with honor.
No public service or viewing will be held in accordance with his wishes. His ashes will be scattered at a later date in a mountain location he loved to camp in.
The family would like to thank Dr. Swerdloff and the entire staff of MSTI in Nampa as well as the other medical staff involved in Terry's care and comfort over the last several years.
Also, a very special thanks to Grant Jones for everything you have helped Terry and his family with throughout this time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to MSTI of Nampa's cancer research fund in Terry's name.
