November 23, 1946 - November 6, 2012
Sharon Kay (Stearns) Sanchez, (65) passed away Tuesday, November 6th with all her children by her side in Nampa at a local hospital.
Born the only child to Junior Lyle Stearns and LaVerne Maxine Adams on November 23rd, 1946 in Twin Falls Idaho, Sharon was happiest when she was with all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. It didn't matter what holiday it was, whose birthday, a family BBQ or just any old day.
Sharon enjoyed spending time going to garage sales; working in her garden; canning; horseback riding; camping, fishing, and hiking with her walking stick. Spending time outdoors and eating fish, there was never enough fish! She loved her steers, dogs, horses, and flowers too.
Sharon always did anything and everything for anyone. Regardless of what was being asked of her. Her heart was huge, and her hug even bigger.
She is survived by her six children; Tammi Koskimaki of Nampa, John (Cindy) Walburn of Boise; Bill Walburn of Nampa; Cindie (Shawn) Davies of Boise; Laurie Walburn of Boise and Annette Hankins of Nampa. She leaves behind 21 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
Sharon was preceded in death, and joins her father Junior Lyle Stearns, her mother Laverne Maxine Adams and her husband Ed Sanchez in heaven.
Our Mother, Grandmother, and Friend will be forever loved and dearly missed.
