Thelma L Jordan, 93, of Caldwell Idaho went to be with the Lord on April 4, 2013. Thelma was born on May 23, 1919 to Roscoe and Nettie Hart in Agra, Oklahoma. Following high school, Thelma briefly attended college in Edmond, Oklahoma. Thelma soon met and married her "True Valentine," George "Coy" Jordan (who was born on Valentine's Day) on July 3, 1941 in Ripley, Oklahoma.
Thelma and Coy lived many places before settling down and making their home in Nampa, Idaho. Thelma worked at Woolworth's in downtown Nampa, but was primarily a homemaker. Thelma and Coy were blessed with four children.
Thelma was a member of the Marsing Nazarene church. She loved the Lord and she loved her family. Some of her most favorite moments were spent at family gatherings and holidays with her loved ones around her. Thelma's family and friends will dearly miss her. She was a God-fearing, kind-hearted person that always tried to look for the good in everyone.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, two infant sons, her husband - Coy, two brothers -
Cleo and Merrill and her sister - Eloise. Thelma is survived by her daughter, Margaret Munoz - Boise; her son, Harold Jordan (and wife Pam) - Caldwell; her daughter, Debi Casey (and husband Duane) - Caldwell; and her son, Greg Jordan (and wife Becky) - Nampa. Thelma is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 26 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by three brothers Verlin, Merton, and Lyndal Hart - all of Oklahoma.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Corrina and Anna for their love and exquisite care; it was truly appreciated. We could not have made it without them. We would also like to thank Sasha for everything that she helped with over the past several weeks.
