Jay Stoddard Obituary
July 10, 1942 - February 9, 2013
Jay Dee Stoddard, 70, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at a medical center in Boise, Idaho. Jay was born in Downey, Idaho on July 10, 1942 to Joseph DeVere Stoddard and Janet Alice Steed. He attended Marsh Valley High School then served a short time in the military.
He spent the majority of his working career at FMC. During his 33 years at FMC he worked in various positions, spending several years as a lead man.
He was married to Danielle Carlin and together they had two children; Sara & Cory. He married Marlene Clark in 1999 and resided in Boise, Idaho. Jay loved golf and other competitive sports.
Jay is survived by; his wife, Marlene Stoddard, Boise; daughter, Sara Stoddard, Pocatello; son, Cory Stoddard, Kennewick, WA; Jaime, David and Family; three step-daughters & families; and 18 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Joseph & Janet Stoddard.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Wilks Funeral Home 211 W. Chubbuck Road. Interment will follow services on Thursday at the Parker Cemetery in Parker, Idaho. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Wilks Funeral Home 238-8000.
