Dear Scott and Kori:
I KNOW there's not much I could say that could assuage the grief you're feeling at this time. I apologize for taking so long to respond, but just found out about little Kaelyn yesterday afternoon.
Having lost our third daughter when she was just a month old, both my wife and I are too intimately familiar with your heartbreak. All I can say is that I'm sure you've already been able to feel God's arms wrap around you through the love and support you're receiving from your family and friends. Like you...we know the happy days of eternal life with our daughters are still ahead. We're praying the tender mercies of God will continue to give you comfort and assurance.
I admire both of you and your family so much, and know that God will not give us trials that he will not support us in getting through. Someday the strength you derive from this heartbreak will allow you to lift up others.
My prayers are with you and your whole family..
