Lillie Cotton Obituary


POCATELLO - Lillie Cotton, 58, of Pocatello, passed away on Monday evening, May 9, 2011 at Portneuf Medical Center.
She was born November 29, 1952 in Clarksville, a daughter of Lewis and Norma Cotton. The family moved to Pocatello, Idaho when Lillie was five years-old. She attended Pocatello schools, Bonneville elementary and Franklin Jr. High.
She worked at Bannock Memorial Hospital also the nursing home.
Lillie loved to cook, fish, work in her year, going to yard sales and visiting with her many friends.
She is survived by her two daughters, Deeandra Cotton of Salt Lake City and Demetria Cotton of Pocatello, sisters Mary (Dugout) Jackson, Parker, Arizona and Liz Cotton of Idaho Falls, brothers George (Betty) Cotton, Boise; Freddy Cotton, Pocatello and John Cotton of Richmond, Virgina.
Lillie had seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Norma and two brothers, Johnnie and Bobby.
Memorial services for Lillie will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the Bonneville Community Center, 427 N. 6th Ave. Bring a covered dish and come celebrate Lillie's life. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Cornelison Funeral Home, 431 N. 15th Ave. in Pocatello.
