On Aug 18th 2017 Terry Lynn Hammans lost her battle to cancer at the age of 58. She was born December 5, 1958 in Pocatello, Idaho to Thomas and Vonda Howerton, she was the 3rd of six children. She graduated from Highland High School with the class of 1977. She was a loving wife and mother whose family was her world.
Terry loved the outdoors, huckleberry picking, camping, hunting & fishing. She was also very involved in all of her children's and grandchildren's activities. She had a very creative side and enjoyed crafts such as sewing, painting and ceramics.
She was preceded in death by her father Thomas Howerton, brother Ricky Howerton and nephew Zachary Howerton. She is survived by her husband Michael Hammans and their 3 children Jeff (Katherine) Hammans, Rubin Hammans, Katie Hammans and 9 grandchildren. Mother Vonda (Birt) Howerton, siblings Vicky (Mark) Bailey, Randy Howerton, Rod (Tina) Howerton and Tracy (Mark) Guardipee.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 25, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the South Fairway LDS Ward Chapel.
The family will receive friends Thurs, Aug. 24 at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave. from 6 to 8:00 pm and on Friday one hour prior to services at the church. Internment will be in Mountainview Cemetery.
