Frank Wendell Rowberry
POCATELLO - Frank Wendell Rowberry, born April 13, 1953, and passed away on August 29, 2007, with the love of his family and friends by his side.
Frank was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa and friend. His loving, caring and full of spirit personality will be greatly missed. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
He was raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He attended and graduated from Idaho Falls High School.
When he married Ellen, they moved to Pocatello, where they have resided for 35 years. He attended ISU Vo-Tech, where he received his certification in welding.
He married his soul mate, Ellen Louise Hansen on July 14, 1972. They had two children, Jennifer and Jeremy.
He loved his family more than anything. He had worked for Simplot Don Plant for 35 years. He was an EMT for many years, and was proud to contribute to the well-being of those he helped. He felt that being an EMT was his true calling.
He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Chubbuck Stake.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and numerous friends, bowling, golfing, camping, water skiing, fishing, riding his Harley and four-wheelers, going dancing with his wife, snowmobiling, riding a unicycle, race cars and derbies. He was well-known for his practical jokes and focused intensity for any task or activity he participated in.
Frank is survived by his wife, Ellen; son, Jeremy (Jessica) Rowberry; daughter, Jennifer (Joe) Hale; father, Harold (Rita) Rowberry; four grandchildren, Donald and Vanessa Rowberry, Britney and Andrew Hale; seven brothers, Roger (Tami), Jack, Hal (Connie), Kim, Steve (Lucretia) Rowberry, Jimmy and Scott Henderson; four sisters, Velda (Raymond) Stoddard, Venita Munson, Jeanie Rowberry, and Tammy (Rick) Taylor; mother- and father-in-law, Darline and Leonard Hansen; brother-in-law, Mark Hansen. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alta Rowberry, brother, Larry Rowberry, infant granddaughter, Nicole Frances Rowberry, and brother-in-law, Lee Munson.
Funeral services for Frank will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 1, 2007, at the LDS Church on the corner of Chubbuck and Hawthorne Roads. A viewing will be held prior to services starting at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow services on Saturday in the Mountain View Cemetery.
