Tommie (Tom) Ray Hostetler
1937 ~ 2013
Tommie (Tom) Ray Hostetler, 76, of Boise, Idaho, passed away on December 10, 2013 at the VA CLC unit.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held At 1:00 pm on Sunday December 15th at Cloverdale Funeral Home located at 1200 N. Cloverdale Rd in Boise Idaho. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Cloverdale Funeral Home.
Tom was born in Quincy, MO at home on August 28, 1937 to Handy Ray Hostetler and Edna May Hudson. He attended Twin Falls High School and joined the Navy in 1955 serving on the USS Beale.
Tom worked for the Twin Falls Canal Company for 22 years. Tom was very proud of all of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends. Very important to him was his faithful dog Red, cat Onery and his horse Bill.
Tom is survived by his children Thomas (Theresa) Hostetler, Jodie (John) Shulsen, Tracy (Melonie) Hostetler, grandchildren Courtney (Jeremy) Turk, Travis, Jordon, Raylee, Wyatt, Elizabeth, Megan, Katheryn, great-grandchildren Samantha, Alexis, Darian, and Josephine and other family and friends.
The family of Tommie wishes to thank the VA CLC and hospital for the wonderful loving caring care they provided.
