Not sure what to say?

On the anniversary of your passing, Connie, I want to say again how often I think of you and remember the fun times we had during our 7 years as best friends in Alaska.....Skiing, biking, shopping, and having dinners together. I pray that you are with the Lord and that we will reunite one day.

Megan - Your mom and I both lived at Les's house at one time. She pinned the water bed changing your diaper! I helped her pack for Kaktovik and I could write a book about what she put in that box. I'm pretty sure the people in that remote village had never seen the designer clothing she boxed up. You can find me through Chantal and Maria, Les and Jeana. I would love to see you again. I babysat you long ago. Come and see me in Mount Vernon or Costa Rica. I have a few pictures of you at your swimming birthday party in Anchorage. Love, Paula Q. Helinski

Dear Steve - Meg - Connie's Mom & Family -
We were one of those lucky families who Connie touched our life -
It's true you started by having her find the perfect house, and then you found such special, caring friends - Connie & Steve - I can't imagine one without the other - I guess you just have to cherish your memories of each day you had together - I wished often that we had more time in our busy world so we could have had more friend times with the Jones. We feel blessed to have Connie & Steve in our lives. They are truly the best - we have some extra fun memories of buying a Short Sale with the Jones - Our Love to You - Steve - We will miss her too.

Auntie Miriam, Stephen and Megan,
Words will never express how sad I was when I heard about Connie. I pray your memories will sustain you as you carry on in this life. I always try to imagine the amazing party when a loved one arrives in heaven and it makes me smile - just wish we didn't have so many people there already! We have a lot to look forward to. You are in our prayers for the peace that only our Father can give. Much love, Shelli

Jackson, called me Saturday with the sad news.It was sudden and unsuspected just like Mitch's passing. I talked to Connie last Oct at Jack's viewing she seemed so happy and looked as good as she always did. Not only did she have the looks she had the personality to go with it. Mitch always spoke highly of his sister. They are both such a loss.

Auntie Miriam, Steve, and Megan...I was so sad to get the news from Auntie Susie that Connie had passed away. I wish we had been closer as cousins, but am glad we reconnected through the magic of Facebook. So comforting to know that she knew The Lord and that she is walking the streets of gold with so many that had gone before her. Praying for your peace and comfort. Much love.

Connie was one of the sweetest people I have ever known. And one of the bests members of our family. My family's loved her a lot

September 9, 2013

Words are not enough to express Connie's gentle & loving spirit. I was fortunate to work with Connie way back in our "Marsh" days - she was talented, smart & a extremely fun to be with. Always the brightest light in a room, she made everyone she touched happy to be alive. We will miss her dearly, and send peace, love & hugs to her family during this difficult time, especially "Jones" & Megan. If you look for the most beautiful butterfly fluttering amongst the flowers, it will be her, watching over you with that great big lovely smile.

Steve, Meg, and family and friends,
We are so very sorry for your loss. Connie was the best kind of friend. She was a person who was always happy to see you, and ALWAYS greeted us with an amazing smile. She was such a warm and beautiful lady, and loved to share her warmth. She and Steve always had their hearts open for visits and loved to be with great people. I will dearly miss the wonderful person she was. Meg, she loved you and worried about you like the best of Moms. Steve, she was forever grateful for the gentleness and support you gave her. The world is a quieter place today because her laughter is not heard. She will be missed by so many that had the opportunity to cross her paths!
