We were so sad to hear about Kevin! We enjoyed meeting him and his family when they came over to the Oregon Coast. He even taught us some excellent clam butter recipes. We send extra tight hugs to all his family, hoping they know how much joy he brought to us, and how much we are thinking of them all.

God saw you were getting tired
When a cure was not to be
So he wrapped his arms around you
And whispered, come to me

You don't deserve what you went through
And so he gave you a rest
Gods garden must be beautiful
He only takes the best

And when I saw you lying there
So peaceful and free from pain
I could not wish you back
To suffer that again

Kevin is my oldest and dearest friend, and I know he will be waiting to welcome me to heaven when it is my time (and because I know Kevin, he will have hidden my halo or glued my wings together, and he will be laughing about it...he just can't help himself).

Rocksy and Kids, It was a honor to know Kevin,he left me with more than he found when we met. Everyday was a teaching moment for him,I thank you for sharing him,all of his wisdom and kindness. Kevin a Man dies twice, once when he takes his last breath, and once when the last person he knows says his name. You will have a long second round, I love you and will miss you greatly.
