Visiting our folks (Jim and LaRue Van Hooser) at Karcher Estates always meant a visit with June! Her sense of humor, backlog of stories, musical renditions, and fun conversations over a game of bingo or the parlor puzzle are great memories we have. She was a dear friend to the folks--the box of wine on her walker as she dropped by for a glass in the afternoon was quite the sight. Dale would come in early every morning during 2010 to check his dad's meds and June would be reading a book in the lobby. He'd always say "Still reading those dirty books?" And she would respond, "I don't read dirty books ... much!" She was occasionally known to read the newspaper ads aloud and somehow make them sound just a little racey. "The girls" in the lobby would have a laughing fit! She will be missed. Our thoughts and sympathy are with the family. Dale and Lois Van Hooser (Nampa, ID)

My heart holds a special place for June and Don. They were good friends of my parents, John & Celia Thompson. June always brought a smile to my face and helped make my wedding day very special. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Larry & Pene' Lloyd (Rupert, ID)

Don & June were life-long friends of Mom (Dorothy Huntley Frisch) and Dad's, and Dad wanted to be sure that your family knew he remembered your mom with fond memories. Our thoughts are with you all.
