Nettie Mae Unruh

Nettie Mae Giesbrecht Unruh 1932 - 2011 Nettie Mae Giesbrecht Unruh, Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, was born on October 5, 1932, in Livingston, California, to Benjamin and Marianne Regehr Giesbrecht. After a lengthy illness she passed away early Monday morning, June 27, 2011, in Caldwell Idaho. Her childhood and youth were spent in Winton, California. On February 14, 1952, Nettie married Chester Unruh of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, and they lived happily together for nearly 60 years. They raised their children in north Idaho, later moving to Nampa, Idaho, in 1976. She will be lovingly remembered for her thoughtfulness in service to others, her ready wit, hospitality, and gift of singing. She is survived by her husband Chester Unruh of Nampa, Idaho: two sons Steven(Debbie) Unruh of Nampa, Theodore Unruh of Boise, Idaho: one daughter Celia Unruh of Bonners Ferry, Idaho: and two Grandsons David and Benjamin Unruh. Also missing her, are her mother Marianne Giesbrecht of Glenn, California, two sisters, one brother, many relatives and friends, and her loving caregiver Sandy Call of Caldwell. A visitation for family and friends will be held at Alsip & persons Funeral Chapel, 404 10th Ave S. Nampa, Idaho, Thursday, June 30, 2011 from 7:00 -9:00 P.M. A memorial service will be held at Lakeview Bible Church, 1010 W. Greenhurst Road, Nampa, Idaho on Friday July. 1, at 11:00 A.M.
