Most of his life was spent working in the grocery business which included co-owning Jenkins Foods in Parma with his parents. After retiring from there, Chuck went on to work for the Sugar Beet factory in Nyssa and later became sexton at the Parma Cemetery. Chuck is preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte, both of his parents and one grandchild. He is survived by all of his children, seven grand children, 11 great grand children and one great- great grandchild. He is also survived by his sister, Joanne Highlander (Jack) of Sequim, Wash., and numerous nieces and nephews.
