Luis Lara Obituary

Luis Rey Lara
1978 - 2016
On Sunday, November 6, 2016, Luis R. Lara, 38, was tragically taken from his family.
He was a loving and dedicated father of four beautiful children; Luis Jr., Julissa, and twins Reinna and Roxxy Lara. He was best friend to his wife, Jessie Crystal Lara, whom he recently celebrated his two year wedding anniversary with (a total of seven years together).
Luis was born in California on February 2, 1978 to Maria Lara and Jose Luis Lara. His family meant everything to him. His love for his wife was beyond measure. He loved to spend time with his children embracing unforgettable moments at the park, watching movies, playing games and always cooking for the family. He will be remembered for his tough love and soft soul as he always extended his love for his family to others in need. He lived by the motto, "someone's trash is another's treasure," as he enjoyed collecting many items. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
He is survived by his four children; wife; mother; siblings Olga Lara (Zues), Alejandra Lara, Ceasar Lara and Corazon Lara, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father.
In celebration of his life, a rosary took place on Thursday, November 10th at Relyea Funeral, 318 N. Latah St., Boise, Idaho.
His wife and children are suffering the loss of this loving, dedicated father and the news of his death has left them completely heartbroken. They thank the community for their love and support in helping with the funeral costs and expenses. Donations may be offered at Idaho Central Credit Union under the name: "Luis Lara Fund" ( #714 151 768).

Sometimes we have the luck of meeting a shining star here on Earth. Now, your light shines down on us from the heavens above. You will always be loved. All I can do is think about the funny things we said to each other. In my head your smiling and laughing. That's how I will always remember you. I try not to cry about your departure, but when I think about how you left and how I never got to say goodbye, I cant hold them back. RIP<3 LUIS REY LARA you are an amazing person and I'm so sorry this happened to you. I can't help but to think.... "what were your last words", "what were your last thoughts", "what happened"? I know we were not close however you were a very good person. I will hold you in my heart until we meet again. I love you my friends. I hope you see you again one day. GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN!

Luis, you were a truly beautiful soul, and it was always such a joy to see you at work. You were always smiling, never complained, and had a kind word for everyone. Your loss is immeasurable. It doesn't make sense at all that you are gone. I hope you know that you were truly, truly loved, friend.

I've known Luis for about 7 years. We worked together. He was always there to smile and brighten the mood. I seen him throughout the years in the community. I started work at Sykes and was reunited with him as work family. He truly was a great man. Caring loving and loved his family. I will forever miss that smile.

Luis, I will miss seeing you walk your girls to their classrooms. You were so proud of them. Girls, your dad was a neat person and I could see how much he loved all of you! Keep all those special memories of your dad close to your heart. Always share your memories of your dad with each other. Think of him when you are celebrating special events in the future and he will always be there in your hearts. My classroom door will always be open if you ever need to talk to someone.

I miss his smile. We would always talk about back home in California where we had lived so close to each other. He was a great guy, coworker and even better friend. I miss you!

Luis, it is impossible to believe that you are gone, that I will no longer see your beautiful smile and be met daily by your kindness and friendly dispossession. I can't begin to imagine what happened that horrible night that took you away from your family and friends. RIP
