Angeline Delaney Obituary

Angeline Delaney 1919 - 2011 Angeline Delaney (Feb 27, 1919-May 10, 2011) of Meridian, Idaho after a five year bout with Alzheimer's, Angeline, lovingly known as "Matts" passed away peacefully at 92 years of age while surrounded by family, Angeline was born in Chicago to Michael and Philamina Rita and was one of two children. She married her beloved husband (Patrick) of 70 years in 1940 and together had three wonderful children (Patricia, Terrence, and Margaret/Peggy), After living in several locations, she settled in Meridian, Idaho in 1982. Angeline will forever be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, caring grandmother, and as a great friend by all who knew her. She leaves behind her husband (Patrick Delaney), son (Terrence Delaney), daughter (Margaret/Peggy Everts), grandchildren ( Daniel Krejci, Kristina Overton, Shane Delaney, Kimberly Catlett, Brandon Delaney, and Karolee Lovan), and many great-grand children. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph, daughter Patricia, son-in-law Robert Strasser. Angeline touched the lives of all she met with her memorable voice, kind and generous nature, delicious baked goods, her ability to see and appreciate beauty, and her never ending spunk, May she rest in peace " Com Esta bella Angelina" Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside service on Monday, May 16, 2011 at 1:00 p,m at the Meridian Cemetery, on Franklin Road. The family requests that any donations on Angeline's behalf be made to the Alzheimer's Association at http;//www.alz.org.
