Charlotte James Obituary

Charlotte Marlene James 1933 - 2011 Charlotte Marlene James, 78, of Boise, ID passed away, Sunday, May 1, 2011. Her life ended peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 1, 1933 to Charles Monroe and Edith Melba Chapman. Charlotte married Guy James on September 22, 1951 in Boise, Idaho. They celebrated 56 joyful years together. Charlotte left behind six children, Kenny of Boise, Idaho, Steve of Texas City, Texas, Linda and her husband Barry Taylor of Boise, Idaho, Randy of Las Vegas, Nevada, Justin of Gladwin, Michigan, Jess and his wife Jody of Boise, Idaho; one grandchild, Robert Taylor and his wife Mandy of Meridian, Idaho; four great grandchildren Dallas, Kylee, Brooklyn and Zackery; two sisters Virginia and her husband Don Whitaker, and Janis Cooper; one brother, Norman and his wife Kathy and numerous extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. Charlotte was born and raised in Boise, Idaho, attended Boise High School and worked at the Mode in the Tea Room and for Albertson's Sundries. She spent the next 30+ years providing loving care for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of the Owyhee Motorcycle Club, and the Capital Squares Square and Round Dance Club. Charlotte was dedicated to her loved ones. She was independent and lived life to its fullest. She continued to dance weekly and enjoy regular engagements with her friends. She always liked taking the long route home and vacationing with family and friends. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am, on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Terrace Lawn Memorial Gardens located at 4225 E. Fairview Ave, Meridian, Idaho 83642.
