Craig was not only a member of our American Legion Post 2, he was also a member of Voiture 311 (40 & 8). He was very knowledgeable of the 40 & 8 procedures and learned alot from him. We were wanting him to be in charge of our Voiture this year but his health was not the best and was hoping that he would get better and still take the position. He will be surely missed in our organization and as a friend in general. I know he will take his rightful position in the Post beyond and know he will do a great job as he did down here. semper fi friend.

I have many fond memories of Craig.. especially his wisdom of faith and powerlessness. I enjoyed sitting and talking politics with you, as well as hearing funny stories. You will surely be missed and my prayers go out to everyone hurting over the loss. Thank you for all you did for everyone. May you rest at peace now. I know you now have your wings...

I personally learned a lot about patience, tolerance, compassion & my own ego from being around you.
Thank you for contributing to my teachability Craig. May you truly Rest in Peace.

craig,
i will miss your wisdom, practicality and caramel soft inside underneath that marine corp exterior. you showed
me nothing but kindness. although our political views diverged, sometimes diametrically, you treated mine
with respect and interest and i learned a great deal from yours. if i could see you marching just one more time in the 4th of july parade with your dog at your side, would fee blessed. you became a stable presence in my often chaotic life and i will always feel the loss of you; it s hard to let go of a teacher. go with god, craig and semper fei
