Deniece D. Meissner

Deniece D Meissner "DeeDee" 1951 - 2011 Deniece D Meissner "Dee Dee", 59, of Boise Idaho passed away Tuesday April 19 of natural causes at St Alphonsus hospital in Boise. Memorial services will be held in her hometown of Billings Montana at Peach Lutheran Church on May 2 at 11:00 am. Deniece was born on August 2 1951 in Billings to her parents Leonard Leroy Dailey and Vernice Fifield Dailey. Deniece spent her youth and young adulthood in Billings where she attended Billings Senior High School and Eastern Montana College graduating with a Bachelors degree in Education. Deniece married Timothy John Meissner in 1976 and had two children, John Thomas Meissner and Erika Ann Meissner. After working as an accountant in Casper Wyoming, Great Falls Montana, and Mahomet Illinois, she returned to Billings in 1992 and re-enrolled in Eastern Montana College to earn her second Bachelors degree in Accounting. After graduating, Deniece passed the CPA exam to receive her CPA license and joined the Internal Revenue Service in Boise Idaho. She spent the remainder of her life in Boise as a very respected and successful revenue agent raising two wonderful children. Deniece was an avid reader, often completing several books a week, she loved movies, playing golf, and most of all spending time with her children. She was strong, valiant spirit and will be dearly missed.Deniece was preceded in death by her father Leonard Dailey. She is survived by her son John Meissner, her daughter Erika Meissner, her mother Vernice Dailey, her brothers Bruce Dailey, John Dailey, Tom Dailey, Leonard Dailey and Clyde Dailey. Memorials may be sent to Peace Lutheran Church in Billings or a donation may be made on her behalf to the American Diabetes Association.
