Jake, hey buddy. I remember the all night poker games and endless fruitfull conversations we all had covering numberous topics. I'll never, never forget the good talk we had that halloween night. You educated me on Freidrich Nietszhe, and the experiences people can often put us through following the paths we decide to take in the world.

Greta, I know your love and devotion to Jake has no end. Whenever I was around him I was amazed by his wisdom and wit. He was so much like his mother in that respect. We'll miss his spunk and joy he shared with so many. Please know he is in Paradise and will be waiting for you to join him many years from now. He hasn't left you when you carry his memory and love with you. He blessed your lives for almost 29 years and you can draw on that strength. May our Lord and Savior help you carry this heavy burden of grief and bring you peace.

Dear Jake,
Growing up with you was amazing. I always remembered you as a sweet, gentle and kind person who always gave me big tight squeezy hugs to where I couldn't breathe. I loved the way you always called me a "gift" and made me feel special and how we would growl each others names in our black metal voices. Thank you for serving Mike and I and for always putting others needs above your own. Thank you for being humble and selfless. Thank you for your heart. God bless you Jake. My prayers go out to your mother Greta, who is a wonderful amazing woman. My prayers also go out to our crew of buddies who love you and support you.
Soli Deo Gloria!

Jake, I'll never forget the first time I met you. I remember feeling shy and awkward around everyone for the first time and how you starting taking to me like we had known each other for years. It was never hard to talk to you, even though I knew you were much more intelligent than I'll ever be. You never made anyone feel like they were less than you because they weren't as smart or clever. My memories of you are nothing but good ones and I will hold on to them forever. I wish I had more time to get to know you, laugh with you, and carry on more conversations with you. You will be dearly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing you.
My deepest sympathies go out to your family and many friends. We love you Jake.

No one could stop me in the street and give me a lesson on how Nietzsche would feel about present situations like you, Jake. Thanks for making me late to work on so many lunch breaks. Your pacing and your presence will be dearly missed.

Jake, we will miss you very much. I will always be very fond of you because of how witty, intelligent, and how very kind you were, without fail, every single time I saw you. We are all lucky that we had a chance to know you, and a chance to laugh with you, because that’s what we did, every time we hung out. Billy and I have some personal memories of you that we will always look back on, and I know that each time we will smile. Thank you for being part of our lives, you were a very bright part of so many peoples’ lives, we won’t forget you, ever. My thoughts and prayers are with your mother and family, as well as your countless friends, Billy and I included. ***Luv, Erica Berner***
