Jesse L. Dendy Jr., 49, of Meridian, died on Friday, March 15, 2013, at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the Meridian Friends Church, 1021 W. Pine Ave.,Meridian. Services are under the direction of Accent Funeral Home, Meridian.
Jesse was born in Wilmington, DE on February 18, 1964 to Jesse Lee and Rose Dendy. He attended school and graduated from Tower Hill School in 1982. He attended the University of Delaware and then on to Lincoln Tech, graduating in 1988. Jesse married Linette Grantham on October 16, 1999. He worked at Lucent Technologies and PMC-Sierra in Allentown, PA before moving to Boise, Idaho in 2002 to work at Micron.
Jesse was passionate about his family, golf and bowling in addition to being a member of the USBC. He was also a football coach to a semi-pro women's football team in Boise, ID.
Jesse is survived by his wife, Linette, children, Patience, Tamira, Jalynn and his step-daughter Marla of Meridian, ID, grandson, Dominic, siblings: Terri, Mark (Dionne), LaTrica and his parents: Jesse and Rose Dendy of Wilmington, DE, along with many other family members and friends. He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all.
The family suggests memorial contribution be made in Jesse's name to St.Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, 5th Floor South and St. AlphonsusCancer Care Center.
