Dear Hinz family, I am so sorry for the loss of Marty. WE had reconnected by email in 2008 and I was glad I got to talk to him even if by email. I had no idea until today that he passed away. The emails stopped but I did not know why. I remember playing together as kids on Baker Lane. I truly will miss him. Love, Diane Sellers Campbell, University Place, WA

Belated condolences to all of the Hinz family and Jeannie. We just heard about Marty's passing. Thanks to Jeannie, we had just reconnected with Marty this spring. Steve and he had plans to go fishing, and Steve stopped by his house after he tried to call him several times. We will miss him! He was a good friend.

I graduated from high school with Marty in '73 and he was one of the happiest and funnest members in our class.
He'll be missed by all of us.
