I was saddened to hear that Aunt Medaine has passed away recently. Aunt Medaine was always fun to be around and she was a great cook. I spent time on Jasper and Medaines farm when I was a child playing with Lonnie and all the homedale cousins. After we were done playing Aunt Medaine would always have a great meal ready for us. Aunt Medaine will truly be missed.

Aunt Medaine was always so much fun to be around, she had the best laugh in the world. I remember that she seemed to be able to find the funny side in most situations. She had such a great love for her family, it showed in every thing she did. And she made each of her neices and nephews feel that they were so special to her. I remember going to Homedale and getting to spend the night with Birdie and Donna, we had so much fun. Do you remember going to the creek and being told not to get wet, which we always did and your Mom would try to growl but end up laughing at us and our ridicious stories.
I will truly miss you, my dear Aunt Medaine, I love you.

I am so sorry I did not go visit Medaine more often. I thought about her so many times as she was one of my truest, bestest friend. I miss her.
I'm like your Dad ~ I didn't know how to spell her name for a long time.

Deana Cornmesser & Family
April 28, 2011
Please accept condolences on Medaine's passing from the Cornmesser family. Deana (still living in the family home in Ontario), Carol (living with Deana), Ron & Janis (living in Ontario), Barbara & Ron Fountain (Moscow, ID), and Ruth & John Weaver (Payette, ID). Mom has been talking about Medaine for the past couple of months and wanted to go see her, but we didn't know where to contact any of you kids. Years ago, Deana & Ralph and your Mom & Dad would get our families together and have a big pot of beans, noisy conversations and lots of yelling kids! What great times those were at the farm. You'll never guess what I was cooking on Monday & Tuesday...yep beans! Mom will be 85 in October. I'm going to attach a picture of her at her 80th birthday party. We won't be able to attend the service Saturday, but please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. ....Carol
