Milton Crocker Obituary

Milton "Bud" Crocker 1929-2011 Milton "Bud" Crocker died peacefully in his home on Friday, May 20, 2011. Bud was born in Jonesport, Maine on April 25, 1929. Milton was a decorated veteran of the US Army and served in the Korean War. On June 21st, 1952 he married the love of his life, Betty Burns. Together, they travelled extensively in the US, living in Maine, California, Washington, New Hampshire, Florida and finally arrived in Boise, Idaho in 1998. Bud and Betty ran a couple of successful auto businesses on Mount Desert Island, ME. In their travels, a wonderful family was built. Milton was a strong, courageous man. He was independent and strong willed. Bud had an amazing ability to make connections easily. Bud was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty, his parents Milton and Frances Crocker and his two sons Michael and Rickey. His sister Hester Riggs, brother Alan Crocker, brother in law Arthur Burners, daughter Linda Kearney, and his son David Crocker survive him along with his grandchildren Patrick Kearney, Sabrina Waldera, Betty Crocker, and great grandchildren Alexandria Kearney, Sean Kearney, and Darianne Kearney. Bud was very loved and cherished by all that were lucky enough to cross paths with his. We will miss his cute smile and kind heart. May he rest in peace and greet us with open arms when our time comes. The viewing will be at Summer's Funeral Home (Ustick Chapel) on Wednesday May 25th from 6-8pm. The memorial service will be on Thursday May 26th at 1pm followed by inurnment at the Idaho Veterans Cemetery at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Idaho Humane Society or the Burn Out Fund.
