Robert David "RD" Ayres II obituary

Robert Ayres Obituary

Robert David 'RD' Ayres, II, 1968-2009 Robert David 'RD' Ayres, II, 40, died unexpectedly on Sunday, May 10th, 2009 at his home in Robie Creek, Boise County, Idaho. He was born on Friday, June 7th, 1968 to his loving mother, Rose, and father, Robert, in Houston, Texas. Growing up in Huntington Beach, Calif., he enjoyed surfing, skateboarding, and Woop Woop, that last being a state of mind that endured for him until his final moment of life. He is survived by friends and family members too numerous to mention by name and was a well-loved and respected individual in his local community, not only for his excellent work ethic, but for his ability to bring a little rah rah to any event. Making his living as a handyman and laborer he was able to indulge his twin loves of people and the outdoors, and when the weather necessitated spending the day inside he enjoyed working out, cooking up a 'spread', relaxing with good company and music or a movie, or if he was alone a book, a magazine, or his Bible. He enjoyed swimming, hunting, fishing, and, most of all, taking care of those around him. His life goes on in our hearts and minds.

RD... I have just now gotten to the point of being able to write you…Miss you so very very much..SO much has happened in the short time you have been gone... I remember we talked that night I got to Dorrie's.. About your plans of change only you never got the chance to "make that move"..You knew you would be a much happier man...but you were gone in a matter of days...I am sorry that you did not have the chance to get that happiness. .We talked about how very much you LOVE Dorrie and the kids..Especially YOUR LOVE for your little "grasshopper" Jessie..Your unexpected death is VERY VERY hard on our family...many things still not clear..Many things still unanswered..In time we will find out more about your final hours and the truth shall finally be out...maybe then Dorrie and I and the rest of our family will find some kind of serenity in our hearts..Our family went through so much it seems like forever..You and Dorrie were as twins..Always knowing “each others everything”… when we all lived together it was always..”Just you two”..And then when you moved back to be with Dorrie…you guys never “skipped a beat” picked up where you left off.. Just like when you were young…it was still “just you two”..(Except you now had my grand kids to love also)..RD not only is our family suffering the loss of you but also the unexpected death of your mom…my beloved friend Rosie.. Oh how I miss her..!!! I could not even believe she had passed after only being there 10 days..!!! Still unanswered questions of how? Why? The only tranquility I have is knowing she is with you now..but once again she should have not been where she was either..We had OTHER plans..Rosie and I…plans we had for years and years..And now she has gone...RD I love you so very much..Please take care of your mom up there..And tell her how much I miss her and love her…One last thing..you’d be so proud of Dawnette and Carissa for the way they have held up….they are both so very devastated at losing YOU and then ROSIE…in such a short period of time…but WE are FAMILY and we’ll stick together, love one another, and do whatever it takes to protect each other…Please you and your mom now put your hearts to rest knowing that we will take care of each other and we will join you both…at some time…RD I love you…and my dear dear Rosie I love you and miss you so very very much..I never got to say good bye… this too should’ve NEVER happened, yet it did..Rosie I love you…you now have your son “just to yourself”……I just wish it hadn’t been due to both of you dying…..Rosie “remember the tapestry”..Hugs and lots of love to you both..!!!!
