Ronald Ervin Obituary

Ronald P. Ervin April 23, 2011 Ronald P. Ervin, 73 of Boise, passed away April 23, 2011. Ron was born the youngest of six children to Paul and Verna Ervin in Emmett, Id. Ron went to school in Emmett and joined the Air Force in 1955. He married Harriett Smith of Emmett in 1962, they divorced in 1999. He worked for the Boise Fire Dept. for 7 years and worked paving construction for many years in Idaho, Washington, Oregon and California, until he was hurt on the job and retired. Ron is survived by one son, Brian, a granddaughter Alexis (Helena Mt.), one sister, Ilene Martin (Spokane Wa.) and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Thelma, Bobbie, Betty and one brother, Dale. He will be missed by his family and many friends. He was always ready to lend a helping hand. Thanks to all the care givers and friends that made it possible to stay in his home as long as possible. Ron has requested no services.

My dad and Ron were childhood friends and my brother and I had the wonderful fortune of growing up with Ron. The memories are many, the laughter endless. I would like the thank Brian for giving me the honor of helping Ron in his final days. It was a real priviledge. I will miss you!! Love ya Bud
