Rosalie Larsen Goddard
Rosalie Larsen Goddard was born May 4, 1938 in Logan, Utah, to Miles Larsen and Lillious Louisa Tanner. She passed from this life on February 20, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Society in Boise, Idaho.
Rosalie was raised on the family farm in Arbon Valley and was educated in Malad, Idaho.
On October 14, 1956, she married George Joseph (Joe) Goddard. She was the mother of three boys that meant everything to her - they were her life. She was a very talented and dedicated employee for Mountain Bell for many years and eventually retired.
During her earlier married life she and Joe spent their summers in Island Park where they owned and operated a gas station/store. Together they spent many summers there enjoying fishing and the beauty of nature. She has always had a soft spot in her heart for that area.
Rosalie loved to vacation - especially camping and spending quality time with her family and friends. Her grandchildren were a true delight to her and brought such love and dimension to her life. She found great satisfaction in 'doing' for others. She had a knack for touching your heart in a way that few people can. Her talents were varied and she especially enjoyed crocheting which she loved to share.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Derlin Joe and John Miles.
She is survived by her husband, Joe of Boise, Son, Daniel Martin Goddard of Boise, daughter-in-law, Jennifer Goddard of Idaho Falls, grandchildren : Brooke Leanne Goddard, Chance Goddard, Jennifer Dolphus-Jordan (Mike Jordan), Joshua Goddard, Dalton Wilson, great-grandchildren: Isabella Jordan and Isaac Jordan.
She will be sadly missed by her friends and family.
Graveside services will be held at the Sugar City Cemetery at a later date. Donations will be accepted in lieu of flowers by Bowman Funeral Parlor at 5525 N Glenwood St. Boise, ID 83714. Condolences may be left for the family at
