Shirley Bews
Shirley Bews, 93, passed away June 26, 2014, in a Boise care center. Shirley was born March 21, 1921 in Boise, Idaho, the only child of Clayton and Gail Snodgrass. She graduated from Boise High School and attended Boise State University. Shirley met Edward L. Bews at Idaho First National Bank, where they both worked. They were married on March 22, 1950. Shirley then worked at Edward's side in the construction business for over 60 years. She was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church on University Blvd in Boise. She loved cats, horses, and John Wayne. She is survived by her husband, Edward L. Bews of Boise, Idaho. At Shirley's request, there will be no services held; she will be buried Monday, June 30, 2014 in the Cloverdale Cemetery. Final arrangements are under the direction of Cloverdale Mortuary.
The family would like to recognize and thank Life Care of Treasure Valley and Legacy Hospice for their dedicated service to Shirley in her final years.
