William John Mehalos

William John Mehalos "Billy" 1951 - 2011 William John Mehalos "Billy" passed away at his home Saturday April 30, 2011 surrounded by his three sons Jason E. Mehalos, James R. Mehalos, and Mark Graves, former wife Lynda Rodriguez-Dudley, Sister Sallylynn Hurtuk and lifelong close friend Lori. Billy was born Dec. 16, 1951 was raised in Chicago, Illinois where he graduated from Morton High School. He met Lynda in Cicero the summer of 1970. They married in 1976 in Julia Davis Park "Rose Garden". Billy loved horse and was an avid sports fan, but truly a diehard Chicago sports fan! He enjoyed his passion for sports with his sons and close friends. He worked for General Mills Corp. and Hewlett Packard in Boise and became and Idahoan at heart. Billy's pride and joy were his sons, grandchildren, and special relationships he shared with his brother James (Jim) Mehalos whom he respected, loved and admired. Preceded in death by his parents John Mehalos, Ida Mehalos, and Brother Richard Mehalos. He is survived by his brother, sister, sons, 4 grandchildren (Cody, Chris, Neicoh, and Alicia), daughter in law Debra Mehalos, best friend Dale Hawn, and numerous nephews and nieces as well as others who loved him. Billy's home was always a haven to those in need of a friend. Bill always took the time listen and not judge. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Special thanks Life Doors Hospice . A memorial will be held at on May 14th, 2011 in celebration of his life with close friends and family.
