LaRee Izatt
1925 - 2014
LaRee Izatt 88 of Letha, ID, went to be with our Father in Heaven on February 11, 2014.
LaRee was born April, 20, 1925 in Afton WY to Horace and Vietta Nield. She was the fifth of seven children. On October 16, 1944 she married her best friend "Dude" Izatt in the Logan temple. They had eight children. In 1960, they moved to Emmett ID from Afton and raised their family on the farm. LaRee was best known for making wonderful homemade bread, quilting, sewing, and loving everyone who came to visit. She was active in the LDS church. Loved her grandchildren and always had candy in the cupboards and under the seats in the car.
She is preceded in death by her husband Rawla "Dude" Izatt, her parents, two sisters and two brothers, three
son-in-laws, and two great grandchildren.
Survivors include two brothers, (Bruce Walton, LaRoyce Nield); children, Mary Kaye (Alan) Brown, Ivel (Delwin) Burrell, Kathey Hawker-Wikoff, Mark (Debra) Izatt, Delma (J) Gatfield, Wendy (Mark) Little, Claudia (Kelly) Flinn, Joan (Roland) Smith. 29 grandchildren, 102 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, Feb. 15th at the Letha LDS Church. Viewing will start at 10:00 am at the Church. Burial will follow in the Bramwell Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett.
