Waylon "Jim" Arthur Hobbs
Waylon Arthur Hobbs or "Jim" as he was known by friends, family and business associates, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Saint Luke's Hospital in downtown Boise, Idaho.
Jim is survived by his three sons Mike, Jim Hobbs and Jeff "J.J." Johnson and daughter Tracy Hobbs. His daughter-in-law Christi Johnson, his sister Nona Armwood, his niece Tanya Perry. Jim's grandchildren are Daniel and Trisha Miller, Michael, Andrea and Nichole Hobbs. Taylor Hobbs, Mathew and Caycee Hobbs.
Proceeding Jim in death are his wife Donna Hobbs, daughter Laurie Hobbs, his parents Joe and Ora Hobbs, his Brother-in-law John Armwood, his in-laws Lester "Blackie" and Lena McCrery and his nephew Joey Perry.
Graveside service will be provided by Summers Funeral Home at 2pm Friday, March 7th, 2014 at Dry Creek Cemetery where Waylon A. Hobbs will be laid to rest next to his wife Donna M. Hobbs. Anyone wishing to pay respects may do so Thursday evening March 6th, 2014 at Summers Funeral Homes, Ustick Chapel in Meridian from 4 pm to 7pm.
Jim's family is asking that his wishes be honored and instead of flowers or decoration in his remembrance his wish is that all donations be made in his name to the organization he gave to the most over these last 10 years, Chrysalis Women's Transitional Living, Inc. A program dedicated to "empowering women toward positive life change" through the love of Jesus Christ.
