Judith Ann Tell-Hallum|
1963 ~ 2014
Beloved Daughter, Mother, Sister, Friend
On May 15, 1963 Joyce and Kenneth Tell welcomed their second child Judy to the family in Southern California. Their middle daughter grew up loving her siblings and making friends wherever she went.
Judy grew up in California and Idaho, studied cosmetology and worked as a barber before visiting her older sister on Long Island, New York in 1986 where she fell in love with the lifestyle and decided to stay. That year she started her dream job as an event coordinator for a major software company. Judy was fun-loving and adventurous.
She returned to Boise where she met and married Scott Hallum. Judy gave birth to the love of her life Cory Scott Hallum on June 12, 1996. Judy's favorite role in life was being Cory's mom. He brought her great joy and made her want to be an even better person. Judy lived life fully. She embraced family, friends, new ideas and people in need with equal passion and enthusiasm. She loved animals, people, music and poetry. She believed in social justice and always championed the underprivileged, abused or neglected. Her fun-loving spirit, loving smile, heart-felt hugs and willingness to be there when people needed her, whether they were life-long friends or absolute strangers, will be deeply missed.
Judy left this world far too soon for those that mourn her on May 23, 2014 after a brief illness.
Judy is survived by her son, Cory Scott Hallum; sisters, Candice Tell, Melody Moehlmann (Bret), Deborah McCarthy (Rory); brother, Dennis Robinson (Wendy); and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews who also mourn her passing.
