Deanna Jean (Howe) Roberts
Deanna Jean (Howe) Roberts, 74, of Boise, ID, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, June 11, 2014. She was born to Harold and Mary Howe on September 1, 1939 in Red Bluff, CA. Deanna loved crocheting, baking and sharing her love for zucchini bread and rhubarb jam. She also enjoyed volunteering her time to help with various non-profit organizations. She was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and friend to many who knew her as "Mom."
Deanna was preceded in death by her sisters Audrey Howe, Carole Howe and Arline Jones; brothers Ronald (Bud) Howe and Gary Howe. She is survived by her children Ron Horton of Saint Maries, ID, Lou (Richard) Shannon of Red Bluff, CA, Kittie (Scott) Plank of Soldotna, AK, and Bobby Horton and lifelong partner Vince Maruska of Boise, ID. Deanna has nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Deanna is also survived by Donna (Walton) Skinner of Granite Bay, CA, Cheryl (Fred) Miller of Red Bluff, CA, Cecil Allen of Red Bluff, CA, Judy Howe of Modesto, CA, Wanda (Perry) Stout of Corning, CA and Phillip (Charlene) Burnham of WA.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Vineyards Boise on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 1:00pm. A Potluck will follow at the home of Ron Harkins (3001 S. Roosevelt St. #3, Boise).
