Vicki Susan (Evans) Trammel

Vicki Susan (Evans) Trammel, 55, passed away at home early Saturday morning, June 21, 2014, surrounded by her loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer. Vicki was born June 26, 1958 in Cascade, Idaho. She grew up in Cascade and Caldwell and graduated from Caldwell High School. Vicki worked for over 30 years in the lumber industry for several firms. She was a pioneer in a male dominated industry, and when travelling internationally often found herself to be the only woman at the table. With a great deal of conviction and a huge heart, she pursued her passion at work, as well as her greater joys of being a grandmother, mother, daughter, sister, partner and friend.
Vicki lived a life of love and laughter. She is survived by her three loving children, daughter Nikki Pantera and husband Tony; granddaughter Harper; daughter Jenny Trammel; son Tony Trammel; Jim Sterrett, her partner of more than 10 years; parents Jerry and Phyllis Evans; two siblings, Andy Evans and wife Lou, and Cathy Lively and husband Steve and their children. In her words, she lived, she laughed and she loved. Her irrepressible smile and loving spirit will be remembered always.
A celebration of her life will be held at noon on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Summers Funeral Home, 1205 W. Bannock, Boise.
