Robert Vincent Faulhaber
1946~2014
Robert "Bob" Vincent Faulhaber, 68, of Boise, Idaho entered into his eternal life on July 16, 2014 where he was welcomed by his sister Jan Cline. Bob was born on January 26, 1946, in Silverton, Oregon. He was the first child born to Wallace and Patricia Faulhaber and has a brother Timm Faulhaber and four sisters; Jan Cline, Cindy Miles, Debbie Wilcox, and Gail Dubois. Bob was raised on the Oregon Coast and joined the Air Force shortly after graduating from Tillamook High School in 1964. His four years in the Air Force took him to many locations but he finished his military career at Mountain Home Air Force Base in 1969. He loved the Treasure Valley so much he stayed and lived out the rest of his life here. In 1971 he helped open a small car lot with Dwayne Wolfe. He was a big part of turning that small car lot into the well-respected Golden Rule car franchise. He discovered his true passion through this work, was helping people and he easily continued this passion throughout the rest of his life. In the rare moments of his life when he wasn't working he enjoyed movies, fishing, softball, golfing, and participating in his passion with his faith and beliefs through the LDS Church. Through Bob's life he touched many lives from customers he turned into lifelong friends to his teachings in the church, all of which brought tremendous joy to his life. Bob was survived by what I will lovingly describe as his "gaggle of girls" which included his wife Jill, his two daughters Dawn Wheeler and RaNae Jones, his grandchildren Karlee Rensvold, McKenna and Zoey Jones, and Allison and Emily Wheeler. He will also be greatly missed by Jill's children Brooker, Megan, and Kendra and their families. As one of the most amazing dad's and people I have ever known, my life without you will never be the same….I love you daddy.
The services will be held on July 22, 2014 at 11am at the Bristol Heights LDS Church located at 6375 N. Royal Park Ave Boise, Idaho 83713 under the direction of Relyea Funeral Chapel.
