1955 ~ 2014
Marvin L Taylor JR. (JR), 58, of Boise, Idaho, lost his battle with cancer on August 20, 2014.
Marv, (JR) was born in Lewiston, Idaho on November 3, 1955. In high school he was very athletic, running track and playing football. He graduated from Lewiston High School in 1974.
His love of talking with and helping people led him to become a sales professional for various companies over the years. He worked for Pepsi in Lewiston and in San Francisco during the earthquake of 1989 in route sales. He lived in Union Town, WA before moving to Boise. He worked for a furniture liquidation company traveling to various states. JR was a rep for AFLAC, and later worked back in the furniture industry for Mor Furniture in Boise, DeMeyer furniture and Ashley Furniture Homestore. After that JR enjoyed doing handyman jobs like painting and fix ups.
JR loved to spend time with his family and friends, some of his fondest childhood memories were our camping trips to Castle Creek and the Lochsa River. Later, he spent time taking his nieces and nephew to various events such as the circus and on countless class field trips when they were younger. He later spent most of his time caring for his parents before they passed.
He didn't allow his situation to stop him from enjoying life and he still always made time for family. Before he passed, JR said that some of the best times he had were spent these past weeks with his brother and sister. JR was always positive and upbeat and made sure that everyone around him was happy by his witty personality.
JR is survived by his older brother, Clint Taylor and his wife, April; his younger sister, Kim Taylor Donner and her husband Ritch; nieces and nephews, Brandy Jo Charlo of Lewiston, Emily Donner, Chelsea Donner, Hannah Haws, Mataya Taylor and Todd Taylor all from the Boise area; Uncle William (Bill) Taylor of Colorado and Uncle Robert (Bob) Gecich of Lewiston, as well as too many cousins to name.
